What it means

Codladh sámh means sound sleep, or sleep well, and is what you say to someone going to bed, usually straight after oíche mhaith. The point to get right is that codladh is a masculine verbal noun, so the adjective is not lenited — codladh sámh, never codladh shámh, which is a common error on merchandise.
