Terms of service
Who we are. This website is operated by Buy Irish Art, a sole trader business based in Dublin, Ireland. Contact: info@buyirishart.com. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Buy Irish Art, and “you” means anyone who visits the site or buys from it.
1. Using the site. By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms and to our Shipping, Refund and Privacy policies. Please use the site lawfully, and do not scrape it, interfere with its security, or copy its content or images without our written permission.
2. Orders and contracts. Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example after a pricing or listing error or where fraud is suspected, and if we do we will refund you in full.
3. Made to order. Every print is produced after you order it, by our print partners in the EU, UK, US and Australia, so nothing is held in stock. All prints are open edition. Delivery times are set out in our Shipping policy.
4. Prices and payment. Prices are shown in the currency of your market and are the price you pay at checkout. Shipping is free worldwide. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order we have already confirmed.
5. Colour and finish. We work to show each print accurately, but screens vary, so colour on paper may differ slightly from what you see on screen.
6. Errors. If a product description or price is wrong, we may correct it and will contact you before dispatching an order that is affected.
7. Copyright. Images, text and design on this site belong to us or to their respective rights holders, and public-domain works are reproduced from the source collections credited on each page. Prints are for your personal use, and you may not reproduce them for resale.
8. Reviews and submissions. If you send us a review or other content, you allow us to display and edit it. Please do not submit anything unlawful, abusive or misleading.
9. Third-party links and tools. We are not responsible for third-party sites or tools linked from this site. Their own terms apply.
10. Personal information. How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
11. Liability. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for interruptions to the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraud.
12. Your statutory rights. These terms do not affect your rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2022), or the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
13. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home country.
14. Changes. We may update these terms by posting the new version on this page. The version in force when you order applies to that order.
