Owen Jones was a Welsh architect obsessed with how design worked across cultures, and Celtic No.3 comes from his 1856 landmark The Grammar of Ornament — a book that became, more or less by accident, the reference point for how the Victorian world understood Celtic pattern. The geometry here is centuries older than Jones; he just wrote down the rules.
